Dalbello KR 2 Fusion ID Ski BootSTYLE # 200051
The Dalbello Krypton KR Two Fusion features an exciting full redesign of the Krypton series of boots. The KR Two's boot board's ramp angle has been decreased from 6 degrees to 4, for better balance on today's fully rockered skis. The lower shell's (i.e. not the cuff`s) outward cast has been decreased from 1.5 degrees to 0.5, as the medial/lateral neutrality of the leg is of the utmost importance on the wide skis used today. The Dalbello Krypton KR Two Fusion has a new last shape which is narrower in the heel and leg and wider in the toe box. The ID Thermo Max liner is pre-formed to try on or ski out of the box, but is also completely thermo moldable with its combo high density/medium density Ultralon foam for great fit, performance, and warmth! Without a doubt, the Dalbello Krypton KR Two Fusion is the most advanced 3 piece external tongue boot on the market.
FEATURES:98mm last: Forefoot width of 98mm offers an expertly performing low-volume fit. Boots of this last width can run the gamut from very tight fitting to reasonably comfortable, but they will all fit much much tighter than a rental or intermediate boot.120 Flex Rating: This boot is too stiff for beginners and even most intermediates. At this flex, the skier should be advanced to expert level, comfortable skiing at high speeds anywhere on the mountain.Cabrio Design: Dalbello's critically acclaimed 3-piece design is the cornerstone to their freestyle performance lineup. Cabrio boots secure the foot and lower leg in a comfortable way, with a smooth and progressive forward flex. Cabrio boots are great for helping fight against shin bang, and are easier to put on and take off than comparable (high performance, non-cabrio) boots.ID Thermo Intution Liners: ID Thermo liners are the lightest, warmest, and easiest Total Custom Fit inner boots in the world. They are made from 100% Custom Heat Mold-able Ultralon EVA Foam (the good stuff). This liner will improve the response of the boot, transfer energy to the ski more effectively and provide for much better control. Bottom line is these liners are basically THE best you can find. 50mm Power Strap: This power strap is huge! 50mm means a lot of power, and acts like an extra buckle to keep the top of the boot together. The strap helps transmit power to the turn and better control while skiing.Micro-adjustable aluminum buckles: These aluminum buckles can be moved to adjust for size, so if the default position of the buckle and the teeth is too wide or too narrow, you can move it until it fits.Contour 4 Fit Technology: The shell of the boot is designed to be more anatomically correct than any other. Four parts of the foot are crucial in ensuring a close fitting but comfortable boot. The toes, ankles, heel and width of the boot are shaped in a more natural, ergonomic way.Double Canting: Two adjustment bolts, one each side of the ankle, allow for maximum adjustment for leg/knee alignment problems. The canting helps the skis stay flat on the ground while you are still bow-legged or knock-kneed.Dynalink by Dalbello: The middle buckle Dynalink boots is an extra big instep closure band that pulls the heel back into the heel pocket. Where some buckles pull your foot towards the footboard of the boot, boots with Dynalink pull your foot towards the heel of the boot. This is nice because it often means you can get an tight fit without constantly banging your toes against the end of the shell.Dalbello's Owner's Manual: This may seem trivial, but Dalbello boots come with the most thorough owner's manual that we've ever seen. They walk you through any and all of the adjustments that each particular boot can make. Thumbs up for the great info, Dalbello!
